The Luis wood workshop – craftsmanship from the canton of St. Gallen

The Luis wood workshop is a lovingly run carpentry workshop in the canton of St. Gallen, Switzerland. It is run by Luis , a creative carpenter and trained cheesemaker, and Karin , who specializes in artistically burning motifs into wood. Together, they have been running their workshop with passion and craftsmanship for over 15 years.

In their carpentry workshop, unique products are created with great care and attention to detail – from chairs, tables, and garden fences to custom-made individual pieces . Particularly popular are the personalized children's chairs , which can be customized with a name, date of birth, or a personalized motif.

The beautiful wooden boards offered in our shop are created in close collaboration with the Luis wood workshop. Each board is unique—with the hand-burned motif "Silhouette of the Eiger, Mönch, and Jungfrau"—and demonstrates the combination of traditional craftsmanship and a personal touch . The motifs are not created with a laser, but are burned manually using traditional burning techniques . Each board is unique .
